I think I have found the way to being alone and together at the same time. I can sit in alone in a dark room, and surround myself with thousands of photons all representing the sum total of all of you.

At long last, a place where I don't have to translate to another type's language.

Hello, everyone. Looks like an entertaining place. I'm currently reading David Kiersey's "Please Understand Me II" both for personal edification, but also how to understand my wife & kids better. By the way, eight year olds have a tricky time answering some of the Type Sorter questions. Someone needs to look into fixing that...

This is a bit off-topic.. I just find it a bit amusing that a book about INTJs would be titled "Please Understand Me". I know it's not just about INTJs, but most of us would probably be very put off by the title. A better alternative would be "It May Require Some Effort For You To Understand Me, And I Don't Particularly Care That You Do, But If You Do Intend To Approach Me, This Book May Help Somehow To Preserve Your Life, Provided You Follow All Instructions Carefully"

Publishing companies often decide the title of a book. "Please Understand Me" would sell better. I personally think I'd be more likely to look at a book with your title, but more likely to buy a book by the actual title.

oh, we speak different languages here. i speak colloquial plain english. my eyes glaze over during technobabble and other abstractions, but i DID read the entire first page of alvin toffler's future shock once. that dude REALLY needs to take a course in getting to the effing point without pulling every vocabulary word he knows outta...
