Mashiro Rima from the anime series "Shugo Chara". - I just can't help but like her traits of personality.
And a few more characters which I probably don't remmember from other series.

GlaDOS gets a bit of love from me, too.

Hermione Granger is awesome, at least pre-insanity-Weasley.

Dr. House is awesome, but I don't think I'd turn gay for him.

I'd switch places with Lena in Leonce and Lena any time.

For some reason I have a soft spot for Hans Castorp in the The Magic Mountain. Would potentially get bored of him at some stage though.

Then there is Rembrandt the painter. I adore the way he paints and presumably also regards his women. There is one painting of Henricke - I'd switch with her, too.

Remington Steele was charming when I was a kid.
Kira/Light Yagami from DeathNote is a paradox.
Ted Mosby from HIMYM seems Fe and I love architects.
Wesley Crusher. Just because I am a Trekkie.

Severus Snape - Harry Potter
Remus Lupin - Harry Potter
Mr. Darcy - Pride & Prejudice
Colonel Brandon - Sense & Sensibility
Mr. Heathcliff - Wuthering Heights
Dracula - Van Helsing
Marc Darcy - Bridget Jones
Judge Turpin - Sweeney Todd
Dr. Lazarus (Alexander Dane) - Galaxy Quest
Darth Vader - Star Wars
Spock - Star Trek
Commander Taylor - Terra Nova

Should I be concerned about the fact that all of them are _at least_ a decade older than me?

Spock of Star Trek.

When I was a kid, I had a crush on Rita Hayworth as Gilda in the movie Gilda.

"Love" as in romantic attraction:

Julie Bowen as Carol Vescey in TV's "Ed" (Smart, sweet, funny, gorgeous)
Rachel MacAdams in "Wedding Crashers" (Smart, sweet, funny, gorgeous)
Rachel MacAdams as the younger sister in "The Family Jewel" (Smart ass, funny, gorgeous)
Salma Hayek in "After the Sunset". (Loyal, funny, smart, gorgeous)
Zooey Deschanel in "Yes Man". (Quirky, sweet, individual, gorgeous)

Natalie Portman in "Beautiful Girls" (Yes, she plays a pre-teen but so adorable she understandably freaks out Timothy Hutton)

Charlize Theron in "The Italian Job"

Characters I LOVE ....

Gollum
Dr. House
Richard Fish from Ally McBeal (My nickname) "Bygones"
Cosmo Kramer!
Kilgore Trout!

I don't love them...but

Saruman- I admire his way with words.
House - It was the first time I could empathize with a person on a television show. Then the show got crappy after the third season and I stopped watching.
