It's not the Republican party. These days, that's just about all you can say in their defense.

To be fair, it's a pretty big argument in their favor. I just wish there was a party that had that and more going for them.

I suspect its somewhere over in themuzicman's direction. The well-informed members in disagreement with the pinko commie command and control liberalist agenda are not doing so out of agreement to anything Rush Limbaugh might have to say, although he would agree with our sentiments on this issue, he would be coming from a completely different perspective.

Just to name a few...

1 - Imposing into thr realm of how other people's children are educated
2 - Lobbying for harsher sentences for crimes against homosexuals vs crimes committed against nonhomosexuals
3 - Demanding special concessions in areas of employment and membership considerations to private organizations.

This is not an agenda pushing for equal rights, but imposing equal acceptance upon others, and this is very far removed from having equal rights and protections.
