Yes. For some reason before hearing him I believed Germans didn't have the same Rs as us French. However, he pronounces his very similarly to ours. He says "theatre" in exactly the same way it would have been pronounced in French.

Yeah, when I was learning German this was immediately what I noticed too. I thought: Isn't that how the French pronounce their Rs?

Actually, he has two kinds of Rs. One is the barely audible one when he says Germany.

The other was when he says Cont-UVULAR-aption .
