thread, and I suppose this is just a slight variation of that thread, but still I think it deserves its own.

I have absolutely no attraction to guys, at least not according to my definition of attraction. I find us ugly and weird. But, for some reason the thought of sex with another guy is sort of a fantasy to me occasionally.

I suppose I like penises (which is pretty difficult to admit to oneself, liberally minded as I am in the true sense of the word), but absolutely not the body attached to it. I've always had this idea that in order to be labeled bisexual or even bi-curious, there would have to be an actual attraction to the whole person. For instance, I couldn't possibly imagine myself engaging in some homosexual activity and look a guy in the eyes or make out with him (yuck!) and especially not fall in love with a guy.

Does this definitely fall in under bi-curious or would you call it something else (I'm expecting some joke replies here, don't disappoint me)? Can any of the guys here relate?

Okay, I'll bite.

My ex was a lot like this -- curious, though with no experience and no real impetus to go out and seek any. He used to refer to himself as Shrodinger's Gay.

I'm bicurious. A couple of days in Latin a classmate, a pretty, clever blonde classmate rested her head on my shoulder and started playing with my hair. If we were alone I would have gone for it. Just to try it out. I like her, but not that way.

I think it would be under the "bi-curious" label.

However you may be like me. I had a girlfriend and although I had those thoughts I never put my effort into them. Then it slowly turned from "bi-curious" into bisexual.

Well...have fun.

I've had similar experiences. Something twitches in my mind when I see a really attractive or well-built guy, too.

I will agree that I will never go further than this, though. Far too unappealing.

Then it's only a matter of finding the type of guy who doesn't gross you out. Then your curiosity, and a bit of alcohol, will send you flying over that mental hurdle.

Honestly, this sort of self-discovery drama is the stuff of gay romance novels. And incredibly common. Cue the monologues...

"ZOMG I just kissed a guy! That's so disgusting and wrong...but kinda hot. I wouldn't have done it if I was sober, of course. What if I see him again? SHIT! Do I want to see him again? Well, he did look kinda girly. I'm not gay if I like very effeminate-looking men, right? They're practically girls anyways! So I'm still straight, a straight guy who just happens to like girly-guys when I'm really drunk. Phew. Glad that's sorted out!"

I feel no attraction to the opposite sex, but I'm curious about the physical part.

I want to kiss a girl someday and maybe a little more. But I have never fantasized with this. It's just a scientific curiosity. I'd like to masturbate a woman and see her having an orgasm. But I don't think I'd like to penetrate her.

You could try a transvestite: a person with a penis and a female body. Some people call them shemale.

No. You are using words incorrectly.

Transvestites are men, quite often straight men, that enjoy dressing up as women.

Transsexuals are women born in male bodies undergoing hormone therapy, and hence have "female" bodies, but with phalli.

I've always kind of been curious to see what it would be like to orally pleasure another guy, but oddly enough the thought of kissing another guy grosses me out. And don't even get me started on anal, the thought of pitching OR catching makes me feel ill. I couldn't even do that with any of the women I've been with.

Please note I am not anti-gay in any way, I just couldn't do that stuff myself.

I'd like too like it. Just as I like too like eating poo, or getting beat up, or having a headache, or waiting for the bus etc.

Peni can look grand, though. I wish I could put a statue of a 10 meter Shane Diesel dong in my yard. Wish I could post pictures of some grand peni here.

I find transsexuals unappealing, even more than regular guys. Still haven't seen a transsexual that doesn't still look too masculine, but if there was such a person (one where no masculine traits could be distinguished), then hell, maybe I would've given it a try? From what I've seen though, most of them (at least in porn) are "catchers" and submissive, and I would've wanted it the other way around.

Some people disagree about these definitions. There have been some threads here about this (one about "trannys").

What you called transvestite, I'd call cross-dresser. What you called transsexuals I would call transvestites. For me, transsexuals are people "born in the wrong body" that want to make a sex change surgery. Like the model Lea T. She was born with a penis, but now she has a vagina.

A questions of definition.

There are some transsexuals that are very feminine. Search at google (I won't post photos this time lol).

Here in Brazil is well known that most guys that want transvestites (or transsexuals...) want to be penetrated by them. Maybe this happens in other countries too... So, there's this possibility, if you want to find a dominant trans. And I think porn usually doesn't represent the reality (women can say it better)...

That was pure GOLD! Laughed so hard. First time in days. Thank you so much!

Back on topic now. I can't say I am sexually attracted to other guys, but I do observe them to see what women might find attractive about a particularly well toned guy, or the guy that all the girls think is "Just so HAWWT!", but I think that's just me trying to understand things from a different point of view. Like, what makes the ripped guy so attractive to women? What makes "He's just SO HA

guy just so hot? My brain inevitably considers all the factors involved with "supposed" physical beauty in guys for the hot guy and the primal "oooh big muscles, he protect family good" mentality to the ripped guy. Usually ending with me saying to my partner, "Bet you think he's hot, hey? hey?" With a big cheesy grin.

I am also curious how you would find traps (transexuals) and shemales sexually... To be completely honest, i kind of like the idea of seeing a shemale having sex with a female... I wonder if that would be more heterosexual than wanting to see a guy have sex with a female...

A questions of definition.

If you don't defer actual psychologists/sociologists, then sure, there is some debate on the streets by the confused masses I guess.

Transgendered is taken to refer to "born in the wrong body" and transsexual are those in the process of actually switching. There are two modifiers to transsexual, post-op, and pre-op. Referring to 'still has original genitals' and 'has genitals of correct sex'.

Your terminology would fail to account for, for example, men that wear women's jeans, but don't intend to dress as women. The professional language can explain that though.

Personally, I would think it would be psychologically difficult to use a penis sexually and identify as a woman, but I guess it obviously isn't. There is definitely a way of moving that is different in how she fucks the other woman that is different from how male pornstars seem to fuck.

Well, the concept is hardly unknown among cisgender women; a transwoman is in, well, pretty much the identical position except that her tool is not dishwasher safe.

You're right. The language confused me. In Brazil, at least, "travestis" partially change their body (they implant breasts) but don't make a sex-change surgery. Here, this word is never used to someone that only wants to use clothes (traditionally) of the opposite sex. It's implicit that the person has already implanted breasts.

Sorry, I didn't know that the meaning was different in English and Portuguese.

Hardly unknown?...

Huh?

In your world is it common for women to fuck their men with strap-ons?...o.O

In the world I inhabit it is extremely rare for such a thing to happen.

Also, at the end of the day, I would think it would be nice to be able to use your vagina; but the transwoman doesn't have that option. I would think after fucking your husband in the ass it would be nice to then to feel his cock inside of your actual ladyparts...wouldn't that be the more explicitly female experience?

The transwoman is robbed of that second experience though =/

My apologies. I unduly assumed we were all using the same English here. I guess that's where the confusion came in.

I concur with previous posters. What you require is traps. As for the perfect replication of traditionally feminine secondary sex characteristics, they are almost always going to have vaguely male hips or something like that. But you should be able to get over that or ignore it or something. Drink alcohol.

With regard to your question about sexual orientation though, this sounds more like a fetish to me. Although you appear to want to transgress gender binaries, when talking about the addition of dick in particular and exclusively you are dealing with an object rather than a person. Although there's nothing necessarily problematic about that in and of itself, you might want to avoid attempting to superimpose that fetish over a real world relationship with an entire person.

Having thought about it some more, I think you're right. I don't have any real life desire to engage in such activities. It feels like it's largely just a fantasy.
