I am twig. 5'10" 120 pounds. (sorry I used pounds =D )
Also I would love to gain weight =( Tips appreciated.

I did wrestling. Found it extremely fun. Leading your opponent and reading his moves.
I did very well. I wonder if being almost a foot taller than my competition had anything to do with it. HA.

Might not be classified as a sport to some but... bowling.
I love it. I had the chance to practice a ton since my father worked at a bowling alley.
STEEERIKE!

Was always good at athletics growing up. All-Star soccer player in HS, set all my school's scoring records. Started for my University team. Played amateur leagues into my 30s. Referee'd for 10 years after that. Also referee'd basketball 5 years and umpired baseball 8 years. My officiating was done at high school and adult amateur levels.

I walk 30 miles a week for my business so I don't risk injury playing anymore.

I watch International Track & Field, Pac-12 football, Seattle Mariners baseball and sumo. I also blog on sabermetric baseball sites.

You can be the best in sports and be an INTJ. It depends on the environment you're in. Individual sports work well. Team sports work well if your team mates are competitive. If they're not, you're looking at individual sports again. Crushing your enemies and hearing the lamentations of the women is attractive. What's difficult about sports is the sheer inordinate amount of time that you have to spend. I wasted 1/8th of my life playing my chosen sport. Often I felt that time would've been better spent anywhere else.

It wasn't. Fiscally speaking, it paid off with dividends. I was courted by many schools. I went on full scholarship, perks, and everything they could throw at me. Good grades and SATs allowed me to be selective. The massive amount of wins and nationals under my belt got me a guarantee.

If the incentives don't sway you, consider this. At a high enough level, there isn't much social interaction. There's only drive. And pain. Lots of pain.

I played football(hence the absence of using the word 'soccer') professionally for my local youth team, but now I only play recreationally. I'm also good at skiing.

I am fairly competitive and athletic. I enjoy running, swimming, volleyball, football, softball, and martial arts. I cannot stand to do nothing but watch other people play and have fun.

I play recreational soccer and do indoor climbing. I'm extremely skinny, but still pretty physically fit (I can do a one-handed pushup with ease).

I've been told to get a subscription to WoW and sit on the couch playing it. I doubt that would work though. What I've noticed is that I'm incapable of gaining any significant bodyfat. Thus, the only way I could gain weight is to build muscle (something which I dislike).

Played football and basketball throughout my youth until secondary school. Then I started playing North American football until an incident kind of ruined my chances playing college ball. Also wrestled that whole time and did some shotput/discus I played rugby in my true freshman year of college and that's about it for team sports. I've always rowed my entire life, but never done crew. Oh, I also played Teeball baseball as a real little kid.

As for what I like to watch, North American football(the Vikes or college ball with an emphasis on SEC), football(spent a year cheering for UChile and six months for Bayern München while living in each country) but I honestly don't catch it enough to care since I can't always read about it in North American papers. I hate basketball and baseball. Baseball is just super boring. It is kind of like a shorter cricket. I really haven't liked basketball since when the Lakers, with Kareem, Magic, A.C. Green, James Worthy and company, started losing to a young upstart Jordan and the Bulls. Just lost its appeal. Roller Derby is fun to watch and the women are pretty personable and fun to hang with. Crew is fun to watch also if you are in an area that does it. I don't get lacrosse. Just seems boring. As I was raised in the American south, I don't really get hockey other than what I remember from NHL 93 for sega genesis.

), mma. All individual sports, but I guess that's no surprise coming from INTJ. Then, few years ago, I tried rock climbing mainly for balance. And a good choice it was! Meeting different people, travelling, camping - great way to get inject some balance in my INTJ life. And i'm loving the sport too

I'm good at the sports that I like (fencing, ping-pong, etc.). I'm kinda terrible at more conventional stuff like Baseball or Basketball, though. It's more due to lack of trying than anything else, really.

I sucked at sports. Mostly because I wasn't brought up learning sports. I was brought up mostly with tv and books.
However, I joined sports in high school mostly for camaraderie. Turned out ok.
Baseball and Football.
I wasn't good.
So I kinda just went on my own to just improve myself, knowing that I wouldn't really be on the team but just for self improvement.

"BAH GAWD KING IT'S A SLOBBERKNOCKER!!" If you've seen WWE you will get that.

Anyway onto me, I'm pretty damn athletic in my opinion. My best sport right now is Ultimate Frisbee (playing Intermurals in the Fall) because I'm specifically training for that. The others that I mainly play are Basketball and Football (Safety, best defensive position ever). I follow sports more than I play them these days because I don't have that elite athleticism and size (I'm under 6 foot, that hurts).

Played rugby in high school and took swimming lessons since I was three or four up until my early teens. I closely follow rugby and wrestling, but I'll also be watching a lot of the Olympics this year.

Football (Aussie Rules) to a state level.
Cricket played A's at Country week all the time. (Country week is all country towns putting in teams and playing off against each other in the city)
Indoor cricket.
Basketball, school and representative sides, A's at Country Week again.
Softball as we didn't have baseball.
Badminton, don't know why thought I'd give it a try.
Tae Kwon Do, got to my red belt about to do my black and got kicked out for taking out some frustration on a school bully.
Muay Thai, because I got kicked out of Tae Kwon Do. Ended up being a sparring partner for a mate who fought on the am circuit.
Mixed Netball for some fun.
Football (Soccer) as I Loved watching it and never played. So played and made sure I got 'good' before I quit...

I also tended to get 'white line fever' in most sports. So competitive but walk off the field and I can be mates with my competition. It is similar to my work and personal life split I am able to do.
I knew once my competitive edge was worn down, also body breaking down, that it was time to retire and concentrate on something with self discipline. So now I do Cross-Fit..

every weekend (barring any scheduling errors), and I can usually make it to the top in time for lunch. It's actually pretty great- wake up early, hike for a few hours, eat lunch at the (excellent) restaurant, and then take the tram down. It requires come coordination between multiple cars, but hiking is more fun with friend anyhow.

I see a lot of people doing individual sports here, so I feel almost out of place when I say that I do crew. In crew, the most important thing to have is devotion to your team, so you would think that a highly introverted and radically individual person like me would take one look and say, "hell no!" but I actually enjoy the sport greatly. Crew requires both physical and mental strength, and while physical strength is something that I'm still working on, I'm always on my A-game when it comes to the mental part.

As an introvert, I too enjoy team sports. Knowing you're doing your part alongside other individuals doing theirs, and the camaraderie, can be a great experience.

Football, track, basketball, baseball, wrestling, boxing, skateboarding, BMXing... I was a multiple sport, multiple letter athlete in high school. I can't participate in much sports anymore because my ankles, knees & shoulders are completely shot. (Due to sports injuries & one very bad car accident.)

I loved sports (the only reason I didn't drop out of high school) and I was good at them.

I'm not good at playing them, but I enjoy watching them.

I think people who question the existence of sports are either autistic or mentally unhealthy. Sports are not superfluous, in that their simply a form of recreation, and in many cultures there have been organised games/competitions. Kabaddi in India dates back long before modern sports like soccer, tennis, F1, etc.

Kabaddi is awesome and unique, at least from the West's perspective. They used to show it on TV here years ago, but i guess they stopped it due to lack of interest. Shame.
