While I am INTJ, I find I have INFJ tendencies often...

Do any of you have INFJ tendencies, and if so, could you elaborate?

This morning I had another one of my INFJ tendencies. I had a bad gut feeling about someone all this morning - I couldn't shake it!

Turns out later in the morning, a wall almost collapsed on someone. They were very close to have been crushed.

This seems to tie in with the INFJ tendencies to know when something is wrong without being able to pinpoint why.

Yes, I actually score INFJ on MBTI tests occasionally. I can be a very emotional person at times and I can "read" peoples moods easily. I also have artistic pursuits like making music and poetry which really appeal to my emotional side.

My brother is INFJ. He can be very emotional sometimes, but on the flip side his emotional capacity allows him to connect with people. Interestingly, I manage to handle people better than him (though I make more enemies too) using my knowledge and critical thinking. In any case, in romantic relationships I can be as emotional as he is (for the better), and also be very romantic. He would have like to be more romantic and outgoing with the ladies, but his avoidant INFJ nature is holding him back.

In MBTI tests my F is almost as strong as my T.

However so far I've never tested as INFJ.

I find that around strong INFJ's, I tend to exhibit INFJ characteristics as well. I don't know how or why I do this but an INFJ aquaintance who is a psychologist actually thought (though she would say "felt") that I was INFJ like her. She seemed very surprised when I told her that I wasn't. I can only do this around extreme INFJ's though, so it rarely happens. Perhaps it's my way of bonding with them or perhaps it's our Ni's exchanging information subconsciously. I have never tested as INFJ.

Eh, I don't know. I can be pretty emotional when it comes to animals. I love most animals and try my best not to run any critters down with my car either. There are also times when I can be incredibly warm towards people and understanding, more P than J. Most times however, I'm 100% INTJ. Not the most popular by any means, but quite capable nonetheless.
