The dominant functions (the most interesting concepts of the overall theory to me) are described in many words, especially Ni. But to get more insightful ideas, I think we should entitle the functions by a category. Such as...
At war or similar: Te- commander, Ti- assassin, Fe- field medic, Se and Si- basic soldiers General characters: Si- caveman, Se- zombie, Ni- wizard, Ti- that little grey alien Or the functions could have awards like... Most complicated: Ni, Most organized: Te, Friendliest: Fe, Most ruthless: Te, Most fun: Ne, Most impulsive: Se, Most dependent: Si, Most insightful/ understanding: Ni Another way is to assign a symbolic icon: Ni's vision/insight/foresight, Te's order, Ne's randomness/brainstorm, Ti's analysis or calculator/textbook, Fi's diary, Fe's affection What are some other ideas or improvements you forum bloggers can spawn? ---------- Post added 08-13-2011 at 10:15 PM ---------- Some favorites of mine from some site are the negative aspects of the types. Istp: assassin, Intp: nerd, Infj: messiah, and the infamous Intj: crackpot. I love that analogy. To me though, the term crackpot is just another way of saying that a concept is to great for reality. Ti ~ Anti-authoritarians
Te ~ Masters of objectives Fi ~ Impassioned Fe ~ Compassioned Ni ~ The perspective that renders our presence insignificant Ne ~ The perspective of the distracted and bored Si ~ The perspective of the familiar and incremental Se ~ The perspective of the immediate possibilities
*facepalm*
Its best not to confuse definitions by reinventing them whimsically. So its then more appropriate for: INTJ: Secretive.
