Personally, I enjoy the viewpoint of all the different MB-typed members on this forum. I believe the varied voices lend a depth to many of the threads on INTJf. Just curious though...for people who are not INTJs, what was your reason for joining this forum?

I'm interested in this as well. I suspect it's because someone close to them is an INTJ, or they're trying to absorb our amazing insights and knowledge

Originally, to discern whether I was INTP or INTJ. There are no good some other forums, so I lurk here and post occaisonally.

In parallel, it's funny...I happened to find and venture onto the some other forum (b/c of someone I like/know who is ENFP) and found that most of the posters there were INTJs. In fact, I think many of the people on this forum contribute there as well. It's nowhere as prolific as INTJf though.

I didn't want this to come out on the public forum ....

-----------------------------------

Well anyway, i'm here because i want inside information on the INTJ mindset so when the time comes i'll know exactly how to fuck them over, i already know i need something very hard and very sharp, now to find out where to put it....

------------------------------------

Ok, i'm here because some other forums are full of poems and emotions (and emotional poetry) and i can't be dealing with that crap.

I first joined typology forums as an entp man was hitting on me IRL and I didnt know if he really liked me or not. I went to the forum for entps, but they just all started hitting on me, giving little clarification on the issue.

I then migrated to a larger, more diverse forum for folks of all types and has spent years learning to overanalyze every aspect of human behavior in jungian terms. I did try out the forum for those of enfp type, but it was very huggily, snuggily and made my brain melt into rainbow sherbert.

Why did I come here? Hmmm. Actually i think it is because it is really relaxing. Rather than having to always try to be on my Tert Te toes, as to not be regarded as stupid, like at the more generic forum, here I can just say to hell with it and mostly let other people be highly logical as I dont stand a chance in hell of being smarter or more logical than an INTJ to be honest. instead I wonder around letting my values lead the way and mulling things over with Fi analysis and being slightly goofy. Mostly it just feels very cozy and happy here and I feel like I never really have to worry about being misunderstood (or understood) or taken the wrong way. I like you guys, even when you get kinda rowdy.

As of late it has been more also helpful as I have been dating an INTJ and I also have a 4 yo little INTJ, so I am trying to understand the things I need to know to help the little one grow up healthily and have the freedom to naturally develop without forcing him into something he isnt.

(davai, we can start an emo poetry thread if you want!)

I'll leave that to you, i'd be too tempted to spam it with pseudo-post-modern random expletives.

I came to apologize to someone. I was getting back to being an INFJ but had to roll that dice first.

I have been reading some of your posts throughout the various threads (not in a stalker-ish way...just recognizing your avatar)...you've definitely contributed generously to the perspective on topics.

Must say, I've definitely been enjoying all the personalities...well, individuals...I've run across here. Yes, I'm feeling a bit mushy today. *hug*

There are very interesting subjects, opinions, and people on here, and even the veryfew a-holes at least present a decent argument behind what they say and are interesting in their own way.

Oh wow, I'm glad I found this forum first if the other ones are full of emo poetry and internet pick-up artists...

I'm glad I found a place where people can be upfront and slightly abrasive with each other without emotions getting into the mix. That's how you get shit done!
