I've known that I am an INTJ for about 7 years now. I was working in a lab - realizing that I had grown tired of the place - I needed a new direction. I started to do some research (imagine that) on where I would fit in. So, I ended up taking the test. I then decided law was a good idea. Long story short... I am now a lawyer... still looking for where I fit in.

I found this place, and got curious about other INTJ's and where they work. I am also interested in some other test I found here. Registering a posting twice is the requirement to see the link... and that is why I am here. So, ignore the next post as it is just to get me to the post count.

My scores (just took the test again to make sure I am what I say I am):
Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging
67 75 81 56

Stop looking.
You don't.
There is no need to.
How do you do?

The test is not necessarily right. I used to test as all sorts of things; my only reliable variables were I and N. Much doubt ensued. But I found out what I was through reading about the personality types, and finding the essence of each side of each dichotomy as well as the cognitive functions--at least, to the best of my ability to do so.

Now, I don't take the tests any more because to all the questions that I would answer: "It depends...", I know which way to answer to get a certain result, and which way to answer to get a certain other result. It won't show me who I am; it will only show the incompleteness of the test to tell me who I am.

It sounds like you know who you are without a test.

I just retook the silly test, after a year, or so.
I am back to being INFJ.
Some of those questions I could answer either way, quite honestly.
There seems to be a flaw in the use of language, as in ambiguity.
Then again: most of life is ambiguous, to one degree or other.
