Guilty. It passes the time until I feel productive. While I was working as a dispatcher, it was more feasible doing quick clicks without thought then trying to absorb INTJf information with constant interruptions.

TM is addicted, I'm not. I just lurk a lot and on occasion post a status update. I "like" a lot more than I post or respond.

I don't play any of the farmville or stuff. Played Cafe World for a while and got to level 60 something and got bored so I quit. The only thing I play regularly now is Rainbow Stars.

I used to be on Bebo years ago, but I closed my account mid-2008 (it impeded my studying among other things) and haven't been back since. My cousin let me watch him on Facebook a few months ago, showing me the ins and outs and such, but I can't see myself signing up anytime soon, let alone getting hooked.

I utilize Facebook as a "social" tool. I can spend a few minutes and click the like button and maybe type an appropriate reply to "Timmy fell in the well" such as "Oh No, hope he didn't drown" and I feel as if I have fulfilled my social obligations. It sure has made me appear more of a social creature, and I don't have as many annoying family phone calls piling up in my voice mail wanting to "chat".

The only family I've accepted on FB are the other introverts that I actually like. LOL

I'm not addicted, but I do utilize FB to market my band and send out notifications of up and coming performances. I do find myself from time to time checking to see how many people have R.S.V.P to the events.

I am not an addict per se, but I am pretty close. I use it as a means to fill my daily social interaction. It helps me pass the time at work when I don't have anything to do (or want to play hookie) plus I can get a quick snapshot of what everyone one in my family/friends are doing.

The main reason I have FB and Myspace accounts is so I can do a blast to the masses in my family without the annoying phone call small talk I would be obligated to do if I call.

It helps me stay in touch with people without much effort. There are some friends I might have otherwise lost touch with if it hadn't been for using Facebook. But overall I don't spend much time on it.

I was somewhat addicted to a few of the games but have weaned myself off of them.

Same here, including extended family who I wouldn't be in touch with at all. But I do spend too much time on it.

A friend of mine started a Private Group on FB recently- which creates a seeecret wall where Friends who aren't in the group can't see your posts at all- your posts don't show up on your feed- and it's pretty fun. Like an invitation-only forum.

The members are mostly her friends, who I don't really know, but in this case the Group factor still alleviates the one problem I tend to have with FB -(outside of general privacy issues)- which is the need to self-edit for appropriateness due to the mixed group of Friends I have- can't always say what's right on my mind, or what would be funniest to me, with Grandpa looking over my shoulder.

Anyway, I seem to spend a lot of [too much] time clicking back and forth between FB and INTJf, looking for... something. Some sort of satisfying interaction. Whatever that is, odds are that I need to get out more in the real world to actually find it.

I have zero interest in the FB games.

I sort of use it as an outlet for my thoughts, be it on life wars politics current events quotes I made up etc... I haven't been very the past 2 few years so I use it to communicate with old friends every now and then if I feel the need to go out and party.

I thought that skill was already perfectly honed, all I do is ensure it's pointed in the right direction (mostly away from me

I am on facebook, but I much prefer here since I found it.

I don't have many friends on facebook (social media definetly imitating life), and I get so few comments on my insightful status updates I wonder why I bother.

I got conned into FB as a way to keep up with the extended family, with whom I've had little contact over the years. I have since alienated most of them, and I ignore the rest, so it is no longer a pressing issue.

Thank the lord for INTJf. I've finally found a group of opinionated elitists with whom I can identify.

Other than the private group thing, this defines my experience pretty well. It can help sift out interesting people in your RL life too. I made a better friend seeing that someone was smart and funny by their FB posts.

I use Facebook, twitter and a few other social sites. I think many introverted people are drawn to social sites like Facebook due to the fact that we tend to enjoy writing more than speaking. We get to take our time, carefully crafting each sentence without the pressure of expecting eyes gazing on us.

I have to use it to develop fan pages for clients, but other than that I have my wall turned off so nobody bothers me.
