Lately I was thinking, and have decided to spend my last free time remaining in daily schedule for learning more about logic, probability theory, combinatorics and things related with those topics. Have any of you know some good books for start?

A Transition to Advanced Mathematics by Douglas Smith et al. is a pretty good text. It's oriented at teaching people entering more advanced mathematics how to write proofs. The main sequence covers logic, set theory, relations, and functions. It then branches out a little bit, covering cardinality, a little bit of abstract algebra, and little bit of real analysis.

I don't recommend a book per say...go through the the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. The subjects are good starting points particularly if you're looking into general logic stuff.

Since you mentioned more mathematical related stuff I'd also look into this

To me learning from one textbook is only looking at something from one perspective. Here is a good starting point if you don't know tons on these subjects I'd go with probability theory the logic of science by ET Jaynes. First result on google...its free. btw don't be afraid of the preface it isn't that demanding...unless you're completely ignorant of math, logic, etc.

I found it pretty light read compared to my normal coursework...hope that helps.

Best $10 you'll ever spend.
