Note 2 is the figurative use, and 4 refers to a subsectioning which tends to get mixed with 2 as per the last example. A convincing illusion may be based on sub-illusions. Reality is what it is and, while composed of things, isn't based on anything. Unless I'm mistaken, you're equivocating 1 and 2.

Real as pertaining to what? Real is only as real as your perception lets it be. Everything that occurs to you is a 'real' experience. Whether that corresponds to other's reality is an entirely different matter.

no. if you were the only person in the world, where would you have come from, who would have given birth to you? if you are a human it is necessity that you were pre-existed by human parents, not robots etc., making the question moot.

No one knows where humans came from in the first place.

I am not open to the possibility that I may be a robot, I already explored the scenario years ago and found the evidence to be contrary to the argument.

I've been told that I'm not "normal" by "normal people" (which curiously, is just their way of saying that I'm not like them). I've seen enough of what they stand for to consider this a very flattering complement indeed...I would wager that my life is much more satisfying as a result of living on the fringes of society.

or like The Truman Show. I've seen glitches in the system such as extreme deja vu, I think when I think about things and that causes news stories to happen, that may be a glitch as well, they read my mind when it's unprotected, especially if they get too close. Most of the rest of you are bots or aliens or some shit like that. I know that's why my life and being is drastically different from everyone else, I cannot even begin to relate to the rest of people, they don't possess meta cognitive functions nor can they infer cause and effect or be reasoned with, there's nothing behind their eyes, not a (figurative) soul at least. My username is a reference to the soulless form of p-zombie which has become quite clear to me to be the norm, their humanoid appearance is just an illusion, I don't know what they are, they may even be one being, a demon of sorts. Something along those lines may be true of my people/temperament, all one being or an AI ourselves with mental projection, entirely separate from the cretin or possibly some division of

psyche. Think about it, the level of illogic and stupidity expressed by the general populace, throughout history even, is too drastically stupid to be realistic, it's impossible that anything could be that stupid, nothing could be as incredibly stupid to the point of being as severely subhuman as the people I've known if their were not something fishy about it all, and that's how I figured it out, it's why I started noticing everything else, they aren't real, nothing could be so fucking stupid / verminous, if they were, they would not even be able to have survived to have evolved into existence. It's probably remote controlling me right now to write this which I would normally delete after I regain control.

There's a lot of other stuff to consider but I cannot say that because it would be giving the enemy too much information. Even if it should only be considered figuratively (apparently I'm regaining composure), the Generic population still doesn't count as literally counting as people, just lesser animals, like other species of the world. One is not their arm or leg or sword (extension of the body) but the mind/soul, so some people are significantly more god (in the pantheistic/atheist sense)/a real person than others, since most (by history and the accursed way of the world) obviously do not possess souls, my temperament and I are alone since the masses driven by the biological imperative are just simple soulless animals who because they are such, breed out of control as they haven't more of a mind to be cautious about it than any other animal. It's why they put Jack Kavorkian in prison and made him out to be the bad guy or act in detriment to belief in superstitions or can think careless embryos need to be protected by killing actual people or why they worship the state as a down to earth sky daddy that allegedly ought micromanage our lives nor can they even comprehend right from wrong without it being a matter of coercion, peer pressure or being handed down from hierarchy and why the masses need books to act as substitutes for a soul or why they're perpetually coming up with arbitrary illogical reasons to fight with people over / raise their social status by comparison to others and will never figure it out on their own that it's fucking stupid or why they go out of their way to piss someone off who'll make them shit from a colostomy bag that they were too stupid to consider an outcome, it's why the majority commits all these atrocities, it is because there is nothing behind their eyes, just a stupid animal, so even figuratively I'm practically the only actual person/god in the world. I can't even relate to anyone else's demeanour, they all have that stupid look on their face except the countenance of those I love.

Yes, I have thought that. It's called solipsism. It's a most extreme form of skepticism.

I neither support it nor condemn it. Whether the world is real or fake, the important thing is that it is, and we should make the most of it anyway.

They came from other humans, which previously came from hominids, which came from primates, which evolved from other mammals, etc. What 'first place' are you referring to?

I actually consider myself alone in my own head, separated from a reality just outside my head. The two have to coincide and leech off each other in a equilibrium though. Your reality can't exist without the outside reality, therefore there must be mutual respect of both. The only real thing in this world to you is you. Outside reality then clearly attaches to you as a symbiosis, allowing you to realize more then just you.

You'll fully understand what I am saying if you stuck your hands on a hot grill, poked out your eyes, drilled holes in your ears, ripped out your nostrils and tongue, then floated in the air. Detached, but still very much alive.

I went ' OMG!' when I saw the title of this thread. Absolutely, yes I have. This has been a topic I've pondered on ever since I was really young. Now, I still do, but I've learned to just move on with life. I'll never find the answer, so I might as well do my best in life and worry less (which is impossible, being an INTJ).

I've toyed with the idea that I'm just dreaming and making everything up, but if that was true I would hope I could do a better job at it.

The big bang. Evolution. That is who we are and where we came from.
