If you ever do find just the right job, will you let me know?
I too am looking for something that won't make me tear myself apart and that gives intellectual and varied challenges, as well as having flexible hours and room for thinking and experimenting.
I've been thinking lately of going down the computer programming route, but we'll see.

Nee, gewoon een Amerikaan die tof doet.

Suidafrikaans is wel echt leuk, trouwens. Als je de koloniale bijsmaak even wegdenkt!

I was born a U.S. citizen abroad and when my family lived in Germany we used to go Maastricht a lot (as well as the Dutch sea-shore). I recall being told that the Dutch don't generally apperciate being compared to the Germans b/c of the history.

    Hi Lucky
I am hoping to breed a warmblood from my mare this season (have tried AI, but no result - will try again in about 2 weeks) the staliion I am using is Byalee Romance (that's actually him in my avatar picture) My Mare is "Truly an Angel" - her pedigree is at http://www.pedigreequery.com/truly+an+angel2
we also have her half sister "Rhymes" http://www.pedigreequery.com/rhymes - she is however conformed more like a quarter horse and has been a broodmare for several years - had several foals by a Quarter Horse stallion called "A Passing Breeze". We are hoping to get a QH x foal from her next season.

Hi Lucky, thanks for adding me. Do you do dressage? I am just starting out. I got a lovely TB broodmare last year, turns out she has lots of dressage training (she was retired due to an injury - now healed). I am enjoying learning from her.

I saw in one the forum your questions about your husband's financial situation.

I would highly recommend seeking advice.
I ran a financial advisory firm some years back....so I can vouch for the value.

I am always amazed at how well the Dutch are at being multi-lingual.
I believe I saw in another post that you are from the Netherlands....Is that correct?
Coming from Australia we are very isolated from other languages other than English.

What is Lucky in dutch.......something like glücklich?

I have only been to the Netherlands twice but I loved it both times. Are you a native?
