Posting on an internet forum doesn't make me want to throw my controller against the wall. Usually.

Thanks! I was worried that it wasn't every good considering that I am utterly incapable of determining the quality of my own arguments and I wrote it at about 4 AM.

    Your Welcome !

Just be forewarned that it is a paradigm shift of thought. Since you mentioned 'meditation' first, it may be less a different perspective for you, than many other INTJ's.

Here is the Wiki link on Binaural beats:

The effects of binaural beats on consciousness were first examined by physicist Thomas Campbell and electrical engineer Dennis Mennerich, who under the direction of Robert Monroe sought to reproduce a subjective impression of 4Hz oscillation that they associated with out-of-body experience.[4] On the strength of their findings, Monroe spawned the binaural self-development industry by forming The Monroe Institute, now a charitable binaural research and education organization.

See the link for the embedded links to Robert Monroe and his Institute.

Tom Campbell mentioned in the excerpt has a book based in larger part on his Institute experience - My Big TOE and associated forum. The forum has various threads related to meditation.

    Enjoy !
