Ambiversion would be the most accurate. I am more extraverted than the typical INTP but much less so than the typical ENTP.

Yes, I was just looking at those. Nevermind that the rest of Socionics is dubious; the idea of subtypes is appealing. My wife in particular points out that I am not at all like "crazy ENTP friend". Alright, admitted, my social introversion is pretty strong, but I could be a Ne dominant INTP.

I suppose it started with the House discussion, plus some people have said that I'm very perceiverish. I'm not sure if I'm an ENTP or an INTP with strong Ne tendencies.

hehe, yes that's the thread. i feel similarly on the forums, but i'm new. and have an emo personality that comes out more online, i guess... it's a little like whining into the void, but more apropos than whining in real life. i'm doing ok for it being this late. how are you?

It also works as a good social deterrent. Talk about ducks when you don't want people to sit beside you in class.

cool! I am glad to hear it. My daughter is a great kid. I am going to see her in about 3-4 weeks as she lives out of state but only by a couple of hours. Totally psyched.

Well, I know the character described is an ENTP from reading the books. That one little sentence refers to the ENTP general inability to shut up if there's an opportunity to show off how clever we are. And then that gets us into trouble. I think Pratchett is either ENTP or ENFP. Hard to tell.

Like ... having a new pair of eyes, or something.

    This is him, great description
After The Child in Time I read just another one which is First Love, Last Rites and I tell you some of the stories are more than creepy. He writes wonderfully but sometimes he can be just too much for me; to give you an idea, he can be very close to Stephen King, very very dark, with the extra twist of his amazing psychological insight ...
