You ever mess around with updown.com? I've done some "traditional" buying/selling and made some fake money. Not sure if it is setup for day trading.

You've got me interested in trading again. We should keep in touch to stay motivated. Thanks for talking with me about ecommerce.

I like the idea of day trading. It seems you would be in control of your own destiny even more so than doing ecommerce. Guys I've worked with over the years have tried it. They will usually get really geeked up about it, have some good days, some bad days, and then some really bad days. After a few months they quietly get out. Obviously, a lot of people make it work for themselves and you sould like you will be successful at whatever you put your mind to.

So do you think if I get all my duckies in a row and start an online store selling "in demand" products that the potential exist that I could at least hit $100k annually on a consistent basis? I'm not looking to get rich. I just want to swap my income stream by working for and by myself.

Thanks for the info. You ever heard of worldwidebrands.com? I'm thinking about buying their product sourcing list since the only missing ingredient in my plan is a friggin product(s) to sell. Thanks again for the research info. I will put it to good use.

My kid's two talents are music & art...but he is clueless about marketing either one. Got any links/blogs to share for kicking him in the business-art direction? Thanks.

You seem like one of the few true INTJs here. Just like Rachel before, I highly appreciate your input on IQ and the nature of intelligence. Your posts were some of the very few displaying actual reasoning skills, in contrast to the politically correct bullshit from the internet debates ammunition recycling factory that is so typical for this site. A winnar is you!

I don't know about Brian Tracy.

Although Many would say I am successful because of my occupation, I actually measure my success by how good a father and husband I am. Married 35 years, so that counts for something. 5 kids ages 22-32. They still spend lots of time with me and each other (trips to the Arctic, hiking and backpacking). The oldest went to Yale, MBA from UCLA, played college sports. The second oldest also went to Yale, started his own business making t-shirts http://www.vintagevantage.com/

and never worked in a real job. The third is trying to be an actor, went to Tufts, works for his brother, teaches and has odd jobs, the fourth went to Yale as well, played college sports and is headed to law school, the 5th is in nursing school.

My kids are my real success.

Everything else is just icing on the cake!

What you wrote in your reply to INTJs and intelligence was so f***g impassioned. I greatly appreciated it. I, like you, will not "lower my self-concept to make the less intelligent happy". Thanks again!!
