Sadly, will be true soon enough. -
07-07-2012 04:58 AMplotthickensI'm in the East Bay. You might try sitz baths in the evening and rubbing off all the dead, cracked skin -- that really helped me.

07-06-2012 04:10 PMplotthickensAh. Drying out. Happens. Do you moisturize your heels & hydrate yourself?

07-06-2012 03:20 PMplotthickensBirkenstocks come in even numbers.
I'm a birky-wearing tree-hugging hippie! -
07-06-2012 02:32 PMplotthickensThank you, but I don't understand your "40" comment.

07-02-2012 01:03 PMzeroemissioni had twisted risers on that lowrider with a black diamond tuck banana seat that made my fun zone go to sleep in just 10 minutes flat of riding because i couldn't stand up so far back from the pedals and replaced it with a similar beach cruiser i swap the twisted bars and fork braces on that i also bought a blue crushed velour chromed springer seat for and twisted pedals. DON'T ever buy custom parts from streetlowrider! they are conniving bastards that still owe me a $40 part the never sent!
many kudos to you for encouraging your son to bike as well as encourage other to as well through the stealth cool power bikes have! i kid you not (pun intended) even with my old black huffy MTB, all i needed to do was strap a couple speakers to it, and women would hop up from sun bathing to dance and one buxom MILF even came up to me and freaked on my leg to my sharona downtown! you can't get THAT kind of action with a porsche with a $10k sound system! -
07-02-2012 01:02 PMzeroemissionthese days though, i'm all about recumbents. no more saddle sore, sore arm or lower back. i can just ride all day and when i do, 20 miles with a mile long 200+ foot climb are average.
bicycling should be something you bring with you into adulthood except on the aggressive driving east coast anyways. i have fond memories of getting air off my ditches storm drain before MTBs in the 70s on my beach cruiser.
i like to say about bikes:
the more you use them, the better they get
(because you, the engine, get stronger) -
heavy metal zing! thanky!

07-02-2012 12:29 PMzeroemissionwas just curious as the potato thing was popping up everywhere.
as to the bike, you've seen one lowrider, you've seen them all. i always thought it, and the similar, but way more comfortable beach cruiser that replaced it, were tacky, but a lot of people are drawn to shiny objects and that never hurts if you haven't touched poonanny in a very long time -
07-02-2012 10:19 AMMonte314Hee! Hee! I'm such a jerk; I justify it by pointing out the mirth value, and pretending to be good-natured rather than malevolent...

07-02-2012 12:14 AMzeroemissionwell, all the other cool kids are doin' it. besides, i've had a few complains about burned retinas. the new one better matches the overall feng shui even if i no longer have that bike. maybe when i reach 3,000 posts, i'll reveal some elbow, provided, of course, i don't get run over by a bus or something.
and what's with all of these dancing potatos? i've never encountered a single spud with a sense of rhythm -
never fear dancing potatoes will always be found at my place! lol
