Pardon my peeking, but Thoreau? Nice. I read Walden a couple of months ago. (In a cabin in the woods. Really ) I wish more people thought like Thoreau.
I took an american literature course in college and 3 of my favorites were Thoreau Emerson and Whitman. I found their writings to be an inspiration to thinking of life beyond the social norms of jobs and possessions. Maybe that ideal calls to me because of my native american heritage (25%). I wonder what these authors would think if they were alive today.
