I have no idea what "white years" means, but the concept strikes me as funny.

I had a similar thing, discovered it at a similar age to you too. Good post.

Thanks, that's very kind. I'm sure we disagree on some things, but I am glad we agree on Brexit.

Most welcome. It helps when one has direct experience, you know? And it's all true. Not one incident of gun violence whatsoever. And the harrow story is absolutely true.

You are wrong. With our newspapers trumpeting headlines of "Worst Gun Attack in US History", some other @$$hat is out there, already making plans to top this "record".

Good call man, I'm downloading it now. At least it looks to be fairly balanced. If I saw a rational Leave argument I may well still be convinced, but only through a book that isn't trying to argue one way or the other.

hmm they're not particularly close to sheffield - i'm talking not for a holiday, but to live in, and then commute to sheffield. that's interesting that you say that - what's wrong with the places I mentioned? Boring, or crappy?

That's what I've heard! Hmm - the current plan is to find somewhere kind of between the two, close to the peaks - like Stocksbridge, Penistone, Thurlstone. Both Sheffield and Huddersfield look like places I'd like to explore!
