    I think it's a Ne dom thing honestly. So much can be communicated in lightening speed and without the need to explain ourselves. Actually, I'd expand that to include most NPs as I do much the same thing with INP types as well. Although I will clash brains with INTPs at times. lol.

    PM me sometime. I'd like to hear what you told people for them to tell you "no, don't do it," more about your vision and what the assumptions were for the $600K.

    I have an in law who's a certified cicerone, and so I've put out feelers to him about starting a brewery/taproom up. Done a significant amount of research into equipment costs, TTB requirements and legal issues. Have enough construction experience to have a good feel of build-out costs. I'm confident in my number.

    Could potentially be down for something from Boston to your neck of the woods.

    Not related to this post - but I'd totally invest in a larkin bar tho. I remember you talking about it on the ride from bowling to pirate town, and I think you said $600,000. I think I can set up a fully functioning brewery and taproom for $250,000. What I'm saying is, I think you can make it happen.

    Well thank you much! Everyone acts like an intellectual here, so I figured I'd challenge that.

    Yeah it was intense, but it took three years. Each year we did about 1500 interviews or so. Mostly at community gatherings and through all the CBO's in our community. It sounds like a lot, but over 3yrs it was manageable. What was most satisfying was that moment when the researchers (all either elders, young people or homeless people) had that AHA! moment when they understood how coding worked and it was uber satisfying to watch them get excited about research findings and most importantly, to own the findings.

    Ah, scratch that. The CBPR, god I love it so much. I didn't personally interview that many people. I interviewed a couple hundred, but we had a community team of about 30 people who we put through CBPR training. They did all the interviewing. My job was as the research coordinator led the group through the coding and analysis phase.

    Ahhh that's right, I forgot Cathedral Grove is near Port. Tofino is the nearest town to our village.

    What interview chops?

    I had my moments. Including creating a 600 page regional profile in InDesign which automatically updated itself with assessment data for every sub-district in Syria, Iraq, and Jordan.

    Yeah, that looks about right. *glances down at thesis data and back up to 6 browser tabs all unrelated to the writing process* x.x;
