I admire the way Danny interacts with people, he seems to make friends almost instantly. I looked at some of Derren Brown's stuff on Youtube, fascinating stuff, I especially liked the one where he tricked vendors into accepting blank pieces of paper as currency. Are such figures common in Europe? Here in the US there are very few famous people who are not actors, businessmen or politicians. Europe seems to have a stronger intellectual culture.

yeah for about a year after that I said yes to every invitation, surprisingly I didn't end up on any trips to Singapore or Texas but I suppose it livened things up a bit. Have you read 'Join Me' by the same guy, it was written a little before Yes Man and is also funny and interesting.
