Just realised that I hadn't got back to you re the previous message: what you've said sounds very interesting.
It seems to me that many people consider the aggregate of all humans to be some kind of deity, in the same way that some used to consider voting to be the finding out of God's will. I've even seen that today: everyone celebrates the new year, so it's apparently just got to be sacred! "It's not just a different number on the calendar; it is this particular point in time, therefore I am happy."
If you have anything you can point to as an introduction to the secrets of the universe, I'd be really grateful

I'm wondering what you believe, espc with regard to Kabbalah.
I want to know the truth, and think that there is definitely something in some ancient writings, but have been unable to form any conclusions as yet.
