    INTJf map ( 1 2)

Hm.

Hi, there. Where in Scandinavia are you from? According to the map, I am the only Scandinavian (Norwegian) here and I think it's nice to know I have some "neighbors" here.

Seeing more than half a dozen smilies at once fries the circuitry.

    It's okay - it happens. Don't worry, I won't pull out the doomsday devices...yet.

Lol I actually really appreciate it when somebody makes the effort to ask "weird, prying questions". It took a few months for my boyfriend to realize that when I said, "If you don't understand me or if there's something you want to know about my feelings, please please please just ask me straight out." A lot of people take a while to take that seriously. I appreciate that ENFPs just do that from the outset. My best friend seems to basically go through this process:

    -Hears the statement
-Considers the statement. "Oh, that's odd. That actually seems quite nasty. "
    -Asks for clarification
-Takes the clarification at face value
-Reaches a conclusion. "Ah, so that's what she meant."

I like being asked 'cause to me it means that the person is honestly trying to understand my perspective. Nothing makes one feel appreciated quite like somebody making the effort to understand.

I love that willingness to find out more.

You definitely got your point across about both courtesy and the topic at hand.

My best friend is an ENFP, and I tend to find that we have to take care when speaking to one another. Sometimes she wants the brutal honesty that INTJs can be known for, and other times she wants me to speak with more tact. It's taken a long time for us to work out a system which works.

I will say that I've observed that ENFPs are often very generous with INTJ awkwardness and often don't immediately get their backs up. I appreciate that a lot in ENFPs. It's nice when my best friend just asks me what I meant instead of deciding that I meant something nasty, lol.

It's always nice to see somebody make a point courteously. There's too much snark on this forum sometimes (people seem to think that being an INTJ is license to act like a twit...).

I think that you made good points, and in a way that wouldn't alienate the other person. It's good to see. Of course, you're an ENFP, so you probably have a little more native tact than we INTJs do... Still, we're not as hopeless about it as some people like to say. XD

If I have it down to a T, you surely could get it down to an F.
