べんきょう has an う at the end. よ is kind of an exclamation of excitement (e.g., セクシーだよ "You're sexy!")

Huh... Somehow I never saw your message? (Until just now, when I accidentally hit "Fanowene" instead of "Unread Posts".) Congrats to winning over your girlfriend. My Fi is getting ever stronger. I'm nurturing it as much as I can. I really do need Fi to make important life decisions, especially now that I'm continuously getting busier and busier. I can't decide what's important based on Te alone. If I want to be happy in the long run, I need to go for what I enjoy and what makes the biggest difference to real people.

Things are going well, and there are a lot of things going on. :-) I haven't really tried to define myself in terms of functions lately... Well, I've been trying to pay more attention to my Fi.

I see a huge drive coming out of the region of my Fi. Maybe it's actually my Se that's driving the action? Having Si as the function observing the world would explain why I have a hard time taking in the world for what it is instead of for what I expect it to be. Though jndiii has argued that Fi is more likely to use Ne, just like an INFP. I do think my Fi takes advantage of Ne a lot, just to get enough ideas... Maybe Fi by itself can demand action, just like Ni can demand data. I'm actually not that happy with Se being stuck behind all those walls. My Se isn't protected, and I don't like Se all that much.

I'm kinda happy with that now, though your idea of having an extra shell is gone. Maybe that's now represented by Se+Ti who limit the amount of information flowing in? Just ideas. Go play with them!

I also like how you put Fi behind a shield as the innermost process, the true me. The true me never changes over time, though occasionally my Ni+Te manage to convince my Fi that some innermost held beliefs/values are wrong and destructive or that by adjusting my beliefs I could have a more positive attitude which helps me be more productive. Changing Fi is hard work. It is not easily convinced, since its main job is to validate that what I do is morally right and noble.

Maybe a better diagram would be

so no '|' stands for anything. Though now we're still missing Ne, Ti, and Si.

I got to work early and my shift had just started when I clicked "Post Message".

I can really relate to this:

I wonder what the '|' are, however. There has to be some API translating between layers... I'm guessing that the '|' between Te and World would be Se + (a very weak) Fe. My interactions with the world are fairly limited, even when in text form. I like the idea of having Te as a "shell", since I try not to waste the sacred processing time of my Ni with worthless data. The '|' between "Ni+Te" and Te probably is fairly weak (and not to be assigned to (a) process(es)), since Te is a part of "Ni+Te", and Te does a fairly good job of controlling processes, so no better fortification is needed.

Hmmm... From what I understand about INTJs, Te first goes out to organize whatever information is coming in and then feeds in to Ni. Ni then tries to make sense of it and sends a "report" ("need more data!", "solution found", etc.) to Te and Te then determines further action (more observation -> send data to Ni, evaluate solution -> request new solution from Ni OR work on perfecting execution strategy (with Ni and Ne/Fi) OR put plan into action (with Se), etc.). I don't know if those processes translate directly into the way our 5-6 senses work. I also don't know the full role of Fi (or Fe, for that matter). I'm still developing my F side, so I'm steadily increasing my usage of Fi and Fe. I'm trying to let Fi cooperate with Ni.

Now I have to get back to work... I'll think about this some more later. It's nice to know that my brain is coming back. I was somewhat out of commission for the past couple days.

Thanks for telling me about the Tai Chi - it is definitely something I would like to try! I've seen video/DVD's at the library on it. Do you think it is something you really need an instructor for to get started? It wasn't until I was in a yoga class that I realized how important it is to have that one on one for perfection in form, pose, etc.

The canine hurricane is 1 1/2 yr.s old. Smart as a whip! You tell her something once and she has it. She has energy to burn, and at least once at day has 'zoomies' where she will run the yard as if it's a race track, flat out. Pretty funny. She will also give back sass with a 'wooo woo woo' right at you!
