Haven't seen you in a while. There is some discussion about multiple sources of early life in a evolution thread. Interested in giving your 2 cents?

The original map was destroyed, so in case you want to do it again, answer to the INTJf map thread, please.

thanks for the post, i find genetics fascinating regardless of my elementary understanding of the topic. My "intelligent design" theory was a shot in the dark, no evidence to support it.

If God wanted to collect followers at the point of a gun, he'd have already done it. To believers he's all powerful and gave people free will, right? So, all theocracy is pointless. Just ask God to come from the sky and oppress the people if it's his will.

Yeah, but theocracy is just one example of unreasonable government force. Having some commie committee chairman is the same thing.

I work well with them too, one of my favorite students of all time was a TA I had who came from an unstable family and ended up in the juvenile criminal justice system. I think we finally got him into the right alternative HS after his detention.

I hired into the food and wine biz as a dishwasher in the best restaurant in Seattle in 1979, just before our HUGE boom in food appreciation. Good timing! I worked up to chef, worked as a wine importer and wholesaler, owned a wine retail shop and a wine bar. I've been a teacher for 9 years.

I think INTJs might have a certain way with some special ed kids. I know I do but not as their classroom teacher, as their librarian. There are a lot of jobs in teaching that I can't imagine enjoying on a day to day basis.

Working in Biotech will definitely earn more. I didn't become a teacher until I was 50, I worked in the food and wine industry for 22 years before that.

Just curious--I like to play connect the dots.

Are you working as a teacher?

I'm glad you mentioned class warfare because the real issue is economic injustice; racism is just a tool that the ruling class uses to maintain its power.

On another note, I notice you are involved with the University of Arizona, any chance you are involved in the ed department? I have been using a game platform with middle school students called "Atlantis Revisited" that is hosted there as part of an ongoing study in the use of game technology in curriculum.

Might have something to do with having a boyfriend, idk...

Well...I skipped a military career to work in civilian healthcare, and then witnessed what war (Iraq) did to my childhood friends. Tends to change your perspective on things.

Pretty much, with a notable exception for stuff made from starch - so roots (shame most of them are revolting).
Only thing worse is chilli, which is not only delicious but in far more things than you'd imagine.

All in all, it's a pain in the arse.
