I've been there. I had my first that I placed for adoption when I was 14 after getting pregnant the first time I had sex on my 14th birthday. and then the second time I did anything I was on the pill and it didn't work and I got pregnant again. I had her five months before I turned 17. She will be 19 in a few months. graduated with test scores higher than 77% of graduating seniors in the state, completed a certificate program and works her ass off. She's going to go back for an x-ray tech or ultrasound tech when she turns 20 because she wants to be doing something like that when she has kids so she can have a dependable income vs a labor job or bartending like she's doing now. And I was a single mom for 13 years with no child support or assistance or even contract from her biological father. He's $128k behind in child support and my child still never went without anything.
