Thank you. Please note that my reply is to kill the otherwise-inevitable deluge of tone policing such comments get 'round here.

Haha. Still don't know how I feel about her character development but she is awesome. Not that many people know about Kara no Kyoukai unfortunately.

There's this thread on stuff people make.

Do you have any pics of your inventions placed in threads in here? I would love to see them.

You sounded [in your post] as if you're also in the same industry [built environment].
    Are you?

    Lol :P

Imagine if i were to yell at them, they might exchange those conspiratorial smiles with each other and my male colleagues, and they might say innocently that they didnt mean anything. And it would appear as if i was acting primadonna-like [as if I was all that]. I've been in this industry for too long that i know all the male lingo already, they seem to have an universal language when it comes to women. If i were to be in a bad mood at work [either office or sites], there'll be whispers that "she didn't get hers last night" amongst the men. I know that already. So, the only way is to remain cool and composed, but always not afraid to ask if they are implying anything funny.

You know what kind of smile that i apply? Usually if i smile like that, even stray dogs [the fierce ones at the construction sites] will whimper and just sit there as i pass by [i am not kidding].

But you are right, saying FU in various languages [say those were Bangladeshi foreign workers who barely speak English, but i am sure they know what Fuck means since it's such a globally recognised word even in the Far East] might definitely heat their sweaty bodies more than save me.

Usually they tend to just look elsewhere and smile lecherously, and will deny they mean me. I just let it be after that.

I knew that, but i just wanted to be sure. See i wont hesitate to ask, even at the risk of sounding so stupid to you.

Well, that's how i deal with uncertainties because being one of the few women in places like that, I always get remarks and some are directed towards parts of my body and what they want to do with me. The only way to handle that is to appear either indifferent or just quiet; but when the remarks involve saying "i'll get her on her knees since she seems to ask for it" when i pass them by, that part i can never ignore. I will smile and ask outright, was that remark directed to me since they're obviously staring at me as they said that, and i was the sole woman there.

Your sequel there was at least as good as the original. It's like the "Godfather Part II" of that thread. That's the kind of discussion I'd like to see more of, in place of the "I'm right," "You're stupid" style of "debate."

It's so goddammed weird to read something in one of these G&A threads that's reasonable, fair, and coherent. Thank you.
