Hmmm, those are very much my themes as well. "I can handle it" is my mantra.

You look at the pictures and remember how fun it was being there in person. 'Logical' conclusion: travel again to recreate the sensation.

I was thinking of 'travel' in the mind as in exploring ideas and concepts, not necessarily places.

Yeah, this is what I found MBTI to be most useful for, shamefully discovering how much projection I was doing and trying to reel it in.

I've never been on a plane , but I share your dislike for enclosed spaces (plus car sickness, which makes me wonder about plane sickness) For me, it's the lack of comfort, what seem like wasted time getting from place A to B, and just generally preferring to 'travel' in my own mind.

I don't get traveling either, but it's the same with people I meet IRL. Most seem to associate not enjoying it with being generally boring and uninterested in growth as a person, or in new experiences. My poorly thought out theory is that, since most people are S rather than N, they think of life/experience as more physical, concrete, rather than abstract philosophizing which can seem stale and useless to them (just like traveling does to us). We have different means of achieving the same goal.

I look for watches that have some sort of pedigree. These on this page, unfortunately, have none. Thanks, though!

    Absolutely.

And these items only look better with age, I feel. My watch is over 7 years old, and yet I still get compliments on it looking more like a fine instrument than a simple watch.
