Hope you're keeping on with the jazz / singing.

Is very busy these days, work-wise, with interesting stuff to do. Barely time for the intjf.... And winter is coming here, so I am battoning the hatches.
La familia is excellent, I'm happy to say. Except for mr. w, who just ran off into the forum, running pell mell into Lion's forest, looking for someone to bite or fight.

The not planning part is tough, neither type are strong on it, if it interferes with what you need to do then it's a problem if not let it go and don't allow yourself to feel annoyed, for me too much planning is not a good thing, I need to be flexible and open to change as much as you need to have things organised, it effects my creativity (not to be confused with productivity, that's generally helped with planning) if I do, I value creativity and innovation over productivity, without the former I'm probably unhappy. Two of my staff are ISxJs and I know it annoys them and I do try to take that into consideration as I value group cohesion so very much, just not at the experience of my ability to be creative, it really matters that much to me.

At the end of the day if you have a boss you can't respect then I'm not sure anything can help things.

If he's an ENTP however then for me it's the common iNtuition you share that is works for you. ENTPs want ideas from other people, they like sharing common interests, they welcome alternate views, showing value in this area shows you are more valuable than most and you will be respected for your mind and ability to be blunt and take criticism. With an ENTP you can bluntly and unemotionally let them know something is inappropriate, they may not act on it but they will respect you for being blunt. It may bruise their ego a bit but they'll get over it quickly and if they see merit in what you've said they may just take it on board.

In either case though, if it's inappropriate you need to do what you need to do to stop it.

As for an ESTP/ENTP boss with boundary issues, for me it would change depending on which side of the S/N divide they landed on, there are only a few areas imo that are shared, mainly the dislike of routine and autonomy, the rest is quite different.

ESTPs are more concerned about relationships and generally if they can't respect you they won't respect your opinion, I've worked closely with two ESTPs in my current role but can't really speak to it if he is an ESTP besides saying they work off feedback, they want positive and hate negative, without meaning to be demeaning kinda like how you would discipline a dog, so long as there is more positive than negative they will seek the positive. Recognition or reward matter, there's a good chance he does what he does now because of this, if people laugh he's encouraged.

Iirc, you were one of the first to call me out as an ENTP, didn't believe you at all back then

As for the 80 friends part, not sure, sent out a whole bunch of requests when it first came in and since then, iunno, people read something and it resinates or something *shrugs* there's a difference between being on someone's friend list and being someone's friend though, nothing to bow over!

And nice work with being Florida beached! I'm taking in the sights of Sydney Harbour atm and it's pretty sweet!

I blame mori for the slobbery, sniffley, shedding, llama. This used to be a nice clean joint.

So... what part of the world are you in these days? (is coming winter here *shivvers*)
