Will do. Right now I will hold off until I get back to work and discuss with my manager to see what the options are. After all, have to take advantage of the company benefits.

Psst do you have any male friends? why don't you invite one over to install it for you at a time when you know your husband will be around. Betcha that will solve the problem real quick, cuz no man likes feeling emasculated. Hm...does that make me evil and conniving? XD

    Stu has covered both bases:

This opens a potential Pandora’s Box, but our theory accommodates both these views, suggesting consciousness derives from quantum vibrations in microtubules, protein polymers inside brain neurons, which both govern neuronal and synaptic function, and connect brain processes to self-organizing processes in the fine scale, ‘proto-conscious’ quantum structure of reality.

    Added emphasis.

Good Luck in squeezing all you have to do into six weeks.

Thanks for the link. Hameroff/Penrose are covered in an INTJf active thread. I'm quite familiar with the work from digging into Hameroff last year. What I don't know is who considers it controversial -yet- so I'll get back to the link for that.

Although I will point out, the Orch OR model is still materialism, in the sense of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I hope it all comes together nicely for you in the next 6 weeks :-)

I didn't bother reading any posts in the thread, but i figured most of everyone were arguing irrelevancies. ;p
