Aww, it sounds like you have a good relationship outside of the confusion. ^__^ I have an ESFP friend and it's gotten to the point where we can't even fundamentally communicate because he speaks in generalities, and if I want to understand what he's saying I have to dig, and dig and dig until he gets pissed off because it feels like an interrogation even though I'm just trying to gauge the subtleties of his feelings. ^^; I think I need to be reminded that I can get stuck in a rut, too. I am a novice, just starting out. I am working on my first novel at the moment. I've also been fiddling around with some other story ideas but I have little to show for it at the moment. My work could be classified under the broad umbrella of speculative fiction, but I am almost exclusively dealing with sci-fi.

Interesting. I think my ex had that. He told me he was an INTJ (and had at one time tested as such), but retested as an ISTP towards the end of our relationship. No wonder we had N/S and J/P problems!
