I've often thought that what would be greatest/most beneficial for society would be to bring people together, to build bridges between classes and so on, but in practice *myself included* certain beliefs have such a high emotional charge that it becomes practically impossible to relate on any level with a person who holds opposing views.
think i have a relevant and recent example from a pbs frontline episode,(ch3-4) but i didnt want to derail the discussion into a political debate of parties involved or the issue. its really interesting to me, because it covers some of the interpersonal relationships between the most powerful us politicians, and noting how those emotional aspects you mentioned can play out.
No, I found them online, I like and appreciate the work that goes into photo manipulation but art photography that is less obviously manipulated is interesting also. Rarely a photographic image is not enhanced in some way nowadays.
