LOL, as a Detroiter I can't really be that huge of a fan but he's been around since I was a kid and that's a bitchin' picture of him. Perfect for an avatar.
And I like the sense of humor that engineers generally have. Was friends with a bunch back in my sophomore year. Good times.
Though they do have a tendency to be a bit cocky ;P
Yes, I was being a little defensive. I don't enjoy being called boring :,( Especially since there are parts of me that are very boring, such as having a bedtime. Haha!
So you don't study Civil Engineering - what do you study? That's really exciting about traveling abroad. I really want to do so in Italy, but I don't know if I'll get the chance. What made you choose the Netherlands?
I think sarcasm has a bite to it, so people can often take it personally. Especially when they're not used to you. But other than that caveat, it's one of my more favorite modes of humor.
But yeah, I consider my life really interesting right now for ME, I'm studying what I love to study, and branching out a lot in my town and going to new hangouts and such. I'm a very enthusiastic person PLUS I'm a writer, so I'm sure I infuse a lot of hyperbole into the things I say.
Plus I just figured that you were overcompensating for how boring YOUR life might be ;-)
The architecture is phenom! I wrote in my journal on the train back to my hotel - "never in my life have I been more in awe than when I looked up at those skyscrapers and saw them touching the sky." lol
I really fell in love with it. I want to look into graduate school there. It's beautiful. I got to take the train and the bus around by myself, and it was very exhilarating. I had never explored a big city alone before. Do you visit ever?
