    Definitely! My daughter's taking physics and of course her years of calculus are used. I didn't say that I didn't think calculus was fun. I'm just saying that I never used what I learned for any practical application.

    I went into banking but most of my adult life I spent as a full-time parent. How much calculus do I remember? Almost none. That was 28 years ago. Haven't used it once.
