I just started working as a consultant, not sure yet if I like it though. (Finished my master's degree earlier this year.)

Bankfurt?! Want an objective opinion? It's lovely, you should visit. No really, depends on what you're looking for, great when it comes to art, museums, concerts, ... really multicultural which I love (lots of expats ending up in 'Bankfurt'), to be honest not too great when it comes to architecture (at least if you're not into concrete, steel girders and glass - the few old buildings are usually reconstructions)... Anything you're particularly interested in?

I saw that! I can't figure out how I missed it. Didn't scroll? That doesn't make sense. Don't think it was a new page. Well, whatever! I'm possibly losing my mind.

Great story. The last time a stranger hugged me, I was so shocked that I actually apologized. But: He was so confused that he let go as well.

It's not that much of an achievement actually, I'm from Frankfurt. Computer science right? I had a look at your intro back then, but my memory is failing me.

Odd example, but you're right. You're from Dortmund? Probably the only larger city in Germany I haven't been to yet.

I meant that it is anticipated that they will be antagonists, but they may well be linked in that negative way.

Why put Merkel and Hollande in the same bucket?

Maybe I'm naive and most people in media don't think this way, but I don't feel comfortable with the idea that the audience is 'dumber'. The audience is uninformed, and our job is to inform them. I also am an audience when I am not working and I find it offensive when things are 'dumbed down' as opposed to 'explained' (huge difference), I just switch channel. Also, please consider that in live TV we normally have precious little time to go over the same concepts, and this is why we summarize, so that we can get a debate going, as opposed to going through stuff in detail when this has already been done before and there is a wealth of information on the web.
