Thank you!! :-) Happy to know it was coherent versus random. I didn't proof it and I never know if my thoughts are going to stream in a way that make sense to others.

That is great to hear. You might want to look into getting the Ketonix. It will tell you if you how far into ketosis you are. You just breath into it.

I just jumped back up 4 pounds over the holidays, but I am not seeing it in my waist. Some weight lifters on the ketosis diet talk about doing carb days to put on muscle mass. I am going to start measuring stomach/bicep/chest to see if this is true although it could be just water weight. I'll try to keep you updated.

If you learn anything new let me know.

No problem. Just be careful with the protein. After the first 20 pounds I plateaued. I had a hard time getting over the fact that I didn't need at least .75 grams of protein per pound . Now that I;ve cut down on the protein I started seeing progress again.

So was I. I would get dizzy, couldn't speak coherently, and would get very, very cranky. I had to start packing candy bars in my locker so I wouldn't get pulled over on the way home. I might have a hard time explaining what was happening if I was slurring my words and couldn't walk straight.

On this diet, which takes a lot from Atkins, there are times when I really, really push myself that I can tell my body is burning fuel quicker than it can make it. But after 20 minutes of meditating I feel like I didn't even work out. That is regardless of if I eat or not after a workout.

But read the book, and listen to the audible book Keto Clarity by Dr. Eric Westman. It isn't exactly easy for your body to go into ketosis after burning sugar most of your life. Westman goes into some detail what those issues are and what causes it. That way when they come up you will see it as signs of success rather than reasons to quit.

Well said. The simple calorie in/calorie out mentality is often causing more problems than it solves.

Hey thanks! I really appreciated yours as well. It moved me and it was well enough written that I wanted to believe it, but there was something nagging at me, and I had to think hard about it. So it deserved a lot more than a one liner response, because it was good, even though I wound up disagreeing with it. I tried not to come across as hypercritical.

That is a Quantum mechanics reference, it should be in physics, and I don't think Von Neumann was the one who said it. But I still agree!

Ah, I see. Interesting facial analysis.

I could see myself saying harsh things about people I know, but the want to do so'd be very context-specific. I'd likely feel uncomfortable using it as a punchline. My feelings regarding someone would only surface if someone were specifically interested in our relationship dynamic, or if I could relate another person's current situation to my own experience. In these cases, I'll be extremely earnest; otherwise I won't ever feel a compelling urge to mention it.

Ah, nope. Actually, one of my close (suspect INFP) friends loves Louis C.K. He has some good material, but it seems to come from an unusual place from my perspective. (Too cynical for me?) I'm sure he's an Ne user, but do you think he's INFP over INTP? Always subconsciously typed him as the latter myself.

Thanks for the video as well. I'm just wondering what type(s) I "come off as" to others. The more perspectives I have to consider, the better.

Still think I might be INFP? Haven't completely disposed of the possibility.

What're some telling signs of INFP-dom in your experience?
