Yeah. I was thinking it might be a cultural thing as well. I Finnish very few people 'love' kittens, food they are eating or their mom. I swear I've only used the verb love in my mother tongue for around three times, and every time I felt like I wasn't totally honest. I am aware of my own shortcomings, but I also spent 15 years with the same guy, and never felt the need to confess it. *shrugs*

Could you get lenses that would bring your better-than-20/20 vision to just 20/20 vision? Or wear a very slight tint--that way your excuse and guarantor of truthfulness would be the tint, and who cares if someone thinks they're also corrective? I am wearing glasses that were designed as sunglasses but I had clear lenses put in. They were slightly pink when they were on the rack, and for a while I considered buying them like that.

Most people here like to speak against the Israelies and see the Palestinians as victims, but it's a two-sided conflict with a long history and it has to be studied objectively to try and get to the heart of it to find a solution. Then again most Americans probably couldn't locate it on a map, so using them as a gauge would be a mistake...

Well...for me, as a philosophical point, yes it matters and it's of interest to me. But since we can't study this in a lab I guess not.
