I did click on your username this morning, but unfortunately I haven't had much of a chance to read through your posts (as I usually do after posting my impression). I had to go to work.
Your question makes me wonder if I was in any way accurate. I could have been going on with mindless banter as I usually do.

EDIT: Duh, I am quite mindless today. "Fairly accurate description".

You're right, the plastic faces are scary. I never understood botoxed women, either. Yes, they look like some obscene dolls from a horror movie with too much makeup :P

    ewww *hides in horror*

In general I think it's better to avoid putting any paint and stuff on your skin, it can't breathe then and it will also absorb that stuff. Be it tested/safe or not, it will still process the paint. Some have skin that is more tolerant some have that is less to these things.

Liquid eyeliner? So it would spill into your eye?

Got to go, but talk to you later

I watched the above "impressive make up" video and... it made me cringe when she lines the eyes, wouldn't put a pen near eyes that close, just no. I love my eyes.
It was at least better done than the second one that made the girl look more like a male transvestite than beyonce.
...well I think I will see the bathroom

Oh well, so much for make up, just look natural, it's way way better than the plastic faces.

I was curious as to how do women learn that skill as well, seems not far from truth what others said.

Personally I find it annoying, unnatural when anybody has a washed out face with too much make up, it's just way too much for my eyes to handle. It looks like paint to me, grotesque, just go geisha style at least A little, some details, is fine, too much is too much.

So I wouldn't worry much about it at all, looking natural is good as well and looks better for most at least to my eyes.

I like piano in any style of music and saxophone and violin too. At least that's what I've noticed.

I would love to learn to play a piano, I will get one of those electronic ones one day I think. That's affordable I suppose.

I listen to anything, sometimes this, sometimes that, do not think I have a specific favorite artist/composer in classical music.

There some nice gems on YouTube for sure, I would have to check if I saved them but I can't now. I have to listen to something more upbeat than classical music that can be rather a bit melancholic.

Do you have a favorite author? How long do you play? Learned yourself or had at least some classes in school or a tutor?

    Good idea

Or get loud speakers and play some classical music
While I would appreciate such music I guess most would rather give up their hearing.

Had such neighbors too. Either you're fine with it. Or play something out loud when possible, bang on the wall, play them primal sounds back or something etc. at least that's the advice I got as well in the past. I guess I just banged on the wall sometimes. But it's good to do something about it if it iritates you and limits you.

It seems that the snow wish has come true already: a few inches fell yesterday, meaning that lectures were cancelled and transport system ground to a halt (as happens surprisingly easily here in the UK).
It makes me think back to our discussion about the Australian heat and fires ... all sounds a world away! :P

(Yes, we Brits really do talk about the weather all the time).
