No worries. It was my fault for not being more clear in the opening post since it didn't occur to me how it might have been construed.

Mmm, leftovers. I'm glad you submitted a dish! I was inspired by your pretty colors for dinner tonight.

Yeah, when searing I want the pan as hot as possible, right? How many minutes per side? Normally when I sear I leave the meat undisturbed for 2 minutes before flipping but I think that may be too long for sous vide in a super hot pan. Does it only need a minute per side or so? If it's a fillet I guess I can just try to do all 6 sides for 30-60 seconds or so?

Is the Anova all I need to sous vide?

Just realized I never replied to your VM -- sorry about that!

No, not at all. There are quite a few people who might be expecting an arranged marriage and still come here and date around, too. Just that they're a bit of an exception and usually tend to be very secretive about dating, so if he's openly dating around it's more likely that he's not under that kind of pressure at the moment (though he'll probably be under pressure to find a wife at some point even if there's no pressure to marry someone the parents choose). The more usual thing IME is for guys who expect an arranged marriage to either date in secret, or not at all because they hold to the same traditionalist values. But this scenario isn't beyond the pale either.

I'm alone tonight. It's safe to breath fire!

Didn't make that much puree. Most of the crust was dijon mustard, sea salt and cracked peppers.

It can be difficult to find both colors and designs that work well. There have been many times where I find an outfit that looks great for my shape, but the color did not work. I really like the color green, but I have yet to find anything of that color that will work.

I think a good step to start is to find a good button up shirt or blouse with a color that is not a neutral color and match it with a neutral colored blazer and slacks. Have you ever thought about experimenting with the color red? A darker shade of this color may suit you.

Thank you! It took a lot of trial and error, but blue (lighter shades), pink, and orange look the best with my hair and skin tone.

Oh that, yeah. But honestly, don't know why the pic turned out so strange with my neck but left it 'as is' since I didn't think it would matter. Apparently not.
