After 20 years of dealing with it I've come to some conclusions. You can let it lick you or you can fight back. I've been fighting that ghost for a long time.

Thank you for the article. It's a difficult topic for me.

    Forgot to add:

When you want something to sink in write it to an INTP, so their Ti can think on it.

When you are talking with them and they are not responding much they are either low on energy or stuck in Ti.

If you are talking and they are talking a lot they are using Ne and not think about what you are saying.

If you want to just have a fun time with them do not make them think on a problem, or they will be detached and Ne is just playing auto-pilot with you.

Hi I apologize being so late responding. If you were to come to Denmark (ease of that varies depending on whether you are an EU citizen or not), perhaps to study at university, or to work for a bit...there are some very good Danish language schools all over the country.
Danish is NOT an easy language to learn, by the way. While it shares some roots with German and similar languages like Norwegian...and learning to READ it is not difficult...speaking it with natives is another game altogether. Spoken Danish sounds nothing like the written word.
Outside of Denmark, I should imagine finding a tutor would be difficult. Not many Danes in the world, and few of them want to leave here...

Had to think about that one quite a bit.

I don't know that I set out to do it unless it seems like that's something the other person enjoys and I feel pretty sure they're not going to mind or be hurt. But when I encounter an idea or opinion I find ludicrous I can be contemptuous and want to poke at it and hear it go zzzt! and forget that people's identities and feelings can be very tied up in their ideas.

As can those of INTPs, except there are very few of those ties and maybe we're not that self-aware about them.

She did what she had to do and talks about it logically. We all have our own logic. She would have to be a different person to behave differently and have a different analysis. She remains a good and kind person. Nor is she stupid.

Okay... :/ I cannot use my phone on the reply. I will try to do it from my laptop when I can (need to get it to internet)..

Just showed you an example of why INTPs don't like making set plans, because things happen to hold you back, and then we feel tremendous guilt over even the smallest broken promises..

How old are the kids? Do you have inexpensive babysitting available? It's important to take the time alone with your partner. Kids change the dynamics of the conversation and make it all about them (at least that's what I've noticed in my case).
