But yep, I agree, luck usually helps the prepared minds..at least that's what I've heard them say...

And no one would expect you to repay your parents in any way. We are all victims of our own gene pool!! lol So, since we don't chose our genes, we don't have any merit for them. But when it comes to working on ourselves, well, that's where the choice is up to us and we have merit in becoming better etc.
