Yes, I have heard something about that around the house growing up. We had a portrait of my Great, Great, I am not sure how many greats, Uncle Polk, and one of his wife...in our living rm. He never had any children himself but his brother, my Great..etc. Grandfather did. My father and brother have the middle name of Polk. I don't know as much as I should about him, most people don't although he was a good, some might even say, better than good President.
