I don't love them, I'm not going to lie. But I don't freak out over them. It's disturbing to watch how they react to them. I was going a little above and beyond by showing her they wouldn't hurt her. I didn't know from stink bugs until a few years ago. I found one and thought it was so fascinating looking that my son and I put it in a jar and I had him take it to school. His teacher was NOT happy about that at all. Oops.

I taught my little 6 year old friend to take a stink bug outside to let it go. She's a devious little thing so I made her pinky swear that she wouldn't kill it. I even made her look me in the eye when she swore but I still didn't trust her. I followed her outside and she did. I was proud of her for keeping her word.....and not freaking out like her mom is teaching her to do. Actually 4 kids...and every single one will run screaming upstairs if they see a spider in the basement. It's crazy. And mom freaks out frantically running down to kill it.

That's my random story for you. LOL. I thought of you as she was trying to get it on the flyswatter....
