Given your avatar, I expected the Discworld to be in the top 3. Huh.

I long ago decided never to only share what seems to be outright harmful stuff. I will and have told people that I have a really bad feeling about their current SO. This has happened about five times--four times, that person went on to turn out to be a bad BF/GF. The other time, I thought they were, but that was on my terms. The SO in question thought they were okay. Speaking of un-knowing, I think some part of that plays a role, because once I know something, then I *must* come to terms with it, and that usually involves acting on it in some way, which sometimes I don't want to cope with/deal with/accept.

But on the other hand, I have been fooled by people because I refused to acknowledge ("I'm being unfair/too harsh/too judgmental/everyone else likes X-and-So, must be just me...") and about 40% of the time, when I get waffly, I am wright, but 60% of the time, I am wrong, and there was some other thing going on. This makes me distrustful.

Also the fact that it never works at the racetrack or when buying lottery tickets. ;-)

No, I've never been able to get a pattern, with the single caveat that most of the time, things I really would rather not know jump out nice and clear, almost with an aura around them. For example, once quite some time back, someone mentioned meeting a woman at an event. As soon as this was mentioned, my 'antsies' kicked in, and when I heard her name, I hated her. I had never set eyes on her at all, but I 'knew' what she looked like, how she comported herself and, worst of all, her 'secret self'. That secret self emerged over time and proved to be just as nasty as I had known it to be. I get this kind of thing often and I will listen to that. It's been good to me.
