Yes. I would feel that if I tried even one, I would default on my standards and morals; a slippery slope towards addiction as a result is also one of my fears -- I'm an all or nothing type of person. I've hadn't had much of a problem, since most of my friends feel the same way.

Yeah, they are very similar. I might have taken one of those if I didn't run into this one first.

I think you're over thinking. Just stop and relax. You'll have children who will have to deal with this thought. Make them work! It's only natural.

Chores: a necessary evil. A curse upon all teenagers. How did parents survive without us?

My parents never technically grounded me. They just nagged me to death until I do the chore or stayed in my room. If I left the room, they would continue to complain. I'm not sure which is worse.

People still get grounded these days?
