I didn't know about Godwin's Law until now, but it's interesting. From my own limited observations it may have some validity, but does Godwin have statistics to support his claim? Is Godwin's Law primarily about forums in English, Americans? I suppose it's appropriate to limit discussions of Nazism in an academic sense, but I've a feeling that perception of oppression plays a role in the phenomenon.
