Not to sound judgmental, but does it bother you to be digging up a pristine area such as that? I myself had considered pursuing geology, but I was concerned that most, if not all of the jobs would involve fucking up the environment. I didn't want to have a personal hand in that. But I do love geology and the environment...
I see. I seem to have a similar mindset. I can't really understand the selfish individualism that Americans widely embrace. It's called, 'society' for a reason. What are you doing at your isolated camp in the mountains, and are you hiring? Sounds like a dream job...
