I was responding to a post from WoodsWoman and saw your Avatar on her homepage or whatever you call it. Kudos on your choice of Avatars. You Canadians sure know how to pick them!

I tend to think of things like onions. There are endless layers of truths. Most people just observe the visible one on top. Ashleigh Brilliant reminds me of Niels Bohr. He said:
There are trivial truths and the great truths. The opposite of a trivial truth is plainly false. The opposite of a great truth is also true.

We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question which divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct. My own feeling is that it is not crazy enough.

I'm trying to arrange a meeting or a lunch with this person, I admire his new book (Dangerous Ideas). He is on the Thinkers 50 top list currently at place 13 globally. I had a lunch appointment with him but was sick at that time.

Absolute truths - yes, I seem to remember you cleverly pointing that out in my intro thread back in 2009, when I was claiming not to believe in absolute truths, but yet listed something as a truth. :-)
I like Niels Bohr's and Max Born's ideas about truth. That's why I listed one of those under my profile. It would be nice to read some books of theirs one day.
Back in those days, it was such a surprise to post and read the posts here, as people here are so different from most people you meet in real life. Whereas an INTJ easily gets away with a lot in RL, here someone always sees right through the words, leaving the poster puzzled. I still enjoy seeing that happen with the other newbies just joining.

What's slowing things down and holding things up is the fact that I don't have a computer, so I can't make and store files, make calculations, etc. as I'd like to.
