Similarly Christians in the region like Armenians and Ossetians are much closer in language and culture to Persians than Arabs are, specially Ossetians, who are Iranian in culture and language.

I lived in Peru for four years, so I'm medioperuano. I'm just surprised because Peru usually loses things. Peruvians have a very negative national self-identity - I think it goes back to the Incas, but was made worse by the war of the Pacific with Chile.
