You my friend, are the one with the food eye. You found the art, I just observed it. Animators, especially those that worked in the mid to late 90s, or in that style, are a strong interest of mine. The 90s used to be the best part of my life, I'm living pretty well now, but only because I understand and incorporate what I feel to be the values of the 90s into my life. Just a suggestion--if you want serious responses, this is a good topic for maybe the Sociology subforum. The lounge is for lighthearted topics, which is why most people will probably give lighthearted answers!
