I dislike giving unsolicited advice, it can be viewed as criticism...but I couldn't resist in this case.

I've disbanded a friendship (with an INTJ no less) over this particular debate....well this and the fact that he tried to argue for "intelligent design" as a viable option to evolution...it got heated, I've learned my lesson.

What's that saying? When you wrestle with pigs, you both get dirty but the pig likes it. :P Save your breath, logical people are very good at twisting their logic to suit their point of view. I've had this debate many times and haven't yet once managed to convince the other of my position.
